Passport Online: A Snapshot to Getting Your Photograph Right

This was an animated explainer video created for the Department of Foreign Affairs to help people use the online passport service. The client provided us with a script, but left the design and animation in our hands.

I first went through the script and made a list of imagery that would accompany each section. The next step was sourcing all of the imagery which I then laid out on a timeline with a demo voiceover. This was then sent to the client to make sure that the look and feel matched their expectations and once I was given the go ahead, I animated all of the imagery. The animation process took place over a couple of days, and was signed off after some minor changes from the client.

The video is currently live on the DFA passport page: https://www.ireland.ie/en/dfa/passports/how-to-apply-for-a-passport/first-adult-passport/
